Our B.A.D boat may be in pieces at the moment but James' Formula Future boat is ready to roar and so he and Dave are en route to Gol Gol in New South Wales for the inaugural U.I.M World Unlimited Displacment Championship.
If Dave's boat had an enclosed cockpit he may be having a go himself but James will be racing both in his stead and under his close watch. The U.I.M ruling does not apply to junior boats and so Lil' Tuff'E'Nuff will be representing South Australia and the Adelaide Speedboat Club on the world stage for the first time in his career.
The event begins tomorrow with a practice session and we believe the officials will setup a smaller course for the junior boats to get a feel for.
Racing is all day on Saturday & Sunday and our plan is to have James participate in every race available to him. As for the competition we are unsure as to who exactly will be there so we'll just have to wait and see. James' best efforts behind the wheel will be enough to be in the mix of things on the water.
A full report on James' progress will be available soon.
