Moving forward

Firstly welcome to our refurbished website! We hope you will continue to enjoy all the news stories, pictures & videos relating to the Tuff E Nuff Racing Team. We've also joined Facebook, so be sure to click the 'Like' button next time you're on the web socialising! As many of you would know, our website isn't the only thing that's being worked on at the moment. There have been several 'goings on' at the Tuff E Nuff camp:

  1. James' nipper boat has had a new engine installed. The young gun has stepped up to the 10 horsepower class - yet another stepping stone on his way to taking his Dad's place in the Unlimited boat.
  2. A big welcome to our newest team member Adam Stunell. His new look 25 horsepower mono boat has been busy at Adelaide and of course at Nagambie, Victoria where Adam represented the team & his club at the Australian Championships.
  3. Last but not least, the boys have been working closely with Dean Borg at Proformance Bodyworks & Marine and have nearly completed the much awaited retro fit of a reinforced cockpit to the 21 foot Evercraft. We expect the work to be completed by the end of July 2011.

As we move forward into the new era of top level Australian displacement racing we're becoming only too keen to get the BAD boat back on the water. David has spared no expense with the rebuild and together with replacing all removable parts on the hull he has a complete new drivers kit in the form of new race suit with buoyancy, drivers helmet with oxygen mask, communications, and to top it off he will have on hand 5 interchangeable oxygen tanks that will provide him with enough breathing air for a full days racing.
