Both father and son were in their element yesterday at the Adelaide Speedboat Club with both Tuff'E'Nuff boats pitted at the North Arm.

James was first up in race 1 and got off to a flying start. A solid performance saw him easily beat the other Formula Futre competitors.
Some closer racing in race 2 for James saw him mid field while in his third and final race he had a good lead ahead of main rival Nick Borg which was clearly frustrating the youngster who was seen hitting the side of his boat 'Love to be Blown' after losing speed in the corner.
As for James' Dad Dave, he couldn't sit still any longer. Mouse has fitted the BNR supplied aerofoil and it looks a treat. More to the point, it seems to be helping with the handling of the boat as far as holding it's head in the straight goes.

We were only running the "small" motor this time around so it will be interesting to see the effect of the wing once the "big" engine goes in and we're around the 140mmph+ mark again.
As safety is paramount in the Tuff'E'Nuff camp, we would like to thank the Adelaide Speedboat Club & committee for allowing us to run the boat in a controlled environmnet in closed water with rescue teams on standby.
Our next meeting takes us to Mildura in a fortnight and it will be up to James to represent the team at the National Championships on the Murray River.
